AusRef has been proudly supplying quality equipment to referees, umpires and other sports officials from Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world since 1997.
We appreciate your business and that you are looking forward to receiving your gear. Please read this page carefully first - placing an order requires acceptance of these terms.
AusRef is an Australian-owned business. All prices are GST-exempt.
AusRef is a one-man, part-time business. This helps us keep prices low, but also means we don't have staff packing orders 24/7! Like most of you, I have a full-time job and life outside of AusRef, so it may take some time for us to have the opportunity to pack and ship your order. On average this will only be a couple of days, but please understand this can vary.
We will keep you updated. After an order is placed, you'll receive a 'Confirmation' email. Once we get to your order you'll be sent a 'Processing' email, and finally a 'Shipped' email with the tracking number (if applicable). Please avoid contacting us to ask when your order will ship, as this simply wastes time which could be spent handling orders.
We are based in Perth. Australia Post typically take around a week to deliver Parcel Post items to the eastern states, or two days for Express Post - but this can vary greatly. If you have received your 'Shipped' email, your order is already with Australia Post and there is nothing we can do to hurry it up.
Please refer here for the latest service update from Australia Post.
Australia Post's tracking service is very poor. Parcels are not usually scanned upon lodgement, so you may just see a status of "Pending/Initiated" until it's actually in the truck on delivery day. If you call Australia Post they'll tell you that the parcel hasn't been lodged, which is absolutely not true - it simply means they haven't bothered to scan it.
International orders may take a while. Australia is a remote country so international delivery can take a long time. In addition to the travel time (which may require multiple flights depending on your location), your country's Customs Service takes time to process incoming parcels. This page offers an idea of what to typically expect. Economy Airmail does not include a tracking service (the CN22 is a Customs reference, not a tracking number) so we recommend Standard or Express mail. Customs duties or taxies levied by your country may apply and are not included in our prices.
It's very unlikely your order has been lost. It is very rare to have orders go 'missing in the post', but occasionally parcels are stolen from mailboxes or doorsteps. We cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged by the postal service or stolen from your property, but we do offer postal insurance and signature-on-delivery services at cost if you require peace of mind (see Extra Stuff). Australians can also use the free 24/7 Parcel Locker service for secure parcel collection.
Stock levels are shown on the site. With the exception of special orders like 2XU or some spare parts, our website shows what stock is on hand. If a product is out of stock we are working on securing more, but due to skyrocketing international shipping costs these need to be ordered in bulk so we are unable to advise when this might be expected.
AusRef only serves our officiating community, so as a small niche business there is a limit to our capacity to respond to orders and queries. We always aim to get your goods to you as quickly as possible but want to be totally up-front with you about the services we can offer.
AusRef is a proudly Australian-owned business, supplying the best officiating equipment for referees and umpires from across the globe since 1997.
